Nice to Meet You

I’m Grace. I’m a Dallas native and Auburn University graduate (War Eagle!) living in Austin, TX.

I love an oat milk latte and butter croissant. I love yoga and a tough barre class. I love a long walk and a good cuddle with my pup. I love laying by the pool in the summer. I love a patio with friends. I love lemon juice in my (very dirty) martini. I love ending my day with a mug of hot tea and good book.

Most of all, I love to create.

Good food and a beautiful table. A cozy, inviting home. Ink and watercolor paintings. A new cake recipe. A unique floral arrangement. An Adobe Fresco illustration. My #OOTD. A clever quip for a caption.

As a content specialist with 15+ years experience, I’ve crafted copy that appeals to everyone from college students to burly biker guys, across industries from travel insurance to landscape architecture. I have worked with other designers and writers and strategists to produce traditional and digital assets that authentically represent each individual brand.

I’ve been a visual merchandiser with J.Crew for five years now. To put it (very) simply, I make things look pretty to make it easy and enjoyable for customers to shop (and spend), and best of all, feel confident in their own clothes. I still keep my hand in graphic design and illustration, too.

I exercise my creative side whenever I can, whether that’s with a pencil, Adobe Creative Suite, a paintbrush, my style or Le Cruset.

So I guess you could say I don’t just love to create …. I need to create. For myself and for others.
